Capitalize holidays, products, geographic names and titles. Commas in greetings and closing of letters. Apostrophes for contractions and possessives (nouns, not pronouns. RayS.) Spelling patterns. Consult beginning dictionaries.

Vocabulary: Unknown and multiple-meaning words. Compound words like lighthouse. Root words. Prefixes. Shades of meaning among related words. Use newly-learned words.
